That is amazingly creative use for such material. Of course, having the talent to build terrain such as that doesn't hurt much, either.

You make me jealous;)

Impressive and resourceful work as usual Mac!!! I'd go with blister pack windows to keep the recycling theme going. I don't know if the supermarket pizzas here in Canada use the same material, but I sorta hope they don't,I have a bad case of wargamers waist as it is!

Every time I buy a pizza now I keep the packaging. :P
See, I'm not the only one with a brick fetish.  o_o :D
(yes Cap'n Blood, I'm looking at you  lol )

Nicely done Colin.

Don't get too fat eating all the pizzas you'll need for a whole town  ;)

This is really great work!! I applaude your recycling spirit. I would suggest using the plastic from figure blisters. It will be firmer than copier accetiate and thus easyer to work with. The accetiate might buckle and ruin your wonderful brickwork.  :-[

Nice. Did you add the printing yourself?

Perhaps I should have commissioned you to build the City for the .45 game... although I don't think I would have been able to afford it!
Your right, you couldn't  ;)
Your city was great, apart from the not quite dry paint I managed to find lol
Sorry :'(
It is a pity that you diden´t live in Hamburg ,I realy wish to game with that terrain  :)
It is a pity :'( I would have loved to play in some of the games and on some of the terrain you have produced.

Is the base polystyrene as well or is that hardboard?
Base is hard board
Nice. Did you add the printing yourself?
That was the good thing about using acetates pinted this out on my normal printer. The only problem was there is no white colour which I would have liked.
The picture is not that clear but that is a pizza slice under the restaurant name. A bit of clip art from microsoft word.
Thanks all for the comments. I am hoping to do some more work tonight I will post some pictures when I have.

Why is it making a model is so satisfying but if it has been done using materials that would otherwise have been thrown away it is even more satisfying? From what is basically garbage you have created something admirable. I really applaud you.
Why buy when you can make it yourself cheaper. Leaves you more pennies for buying the things you can't make, more lead for the mountian :D

Excellent! I love the inside details. Is the floor printed or did you paint it?

I also love the fact you have doors!

Personally I think the whole bare corkboard look is still pretty damn good lol

Can't wait to see the rest of the town!

Cheers
Andy
