Nice work.
Great use of plastic forks(?)  for the necron spider legs.

Thanks for sharing

Great job on the poundland minis and the scratch built spider - impressive indeed.

Thank you Has Been yes they are well worth picking up if one can find them - so glad to hear I am not the only one who considered these particular minis. Did you also keep the section of the base from the original odd base these miniatures come on? I am also thinking the clear shield pieces from the original bases could be useful for something... Did you keep yours? Hope that is not too ambiguous...

Thank you Grumpy Gnome as always.

Thank you Zrunelord I had been worried that they would not look very good and even at one point considered ripping one or two I had done off - but I persevered and it seems to have paid off.

Thank you Spinal Tap given your avatar it is perhaps obvious you would like anything even vaguely, resembling a spider...  lol

Herewith, some more Sci-Fi Miniatures by Mantic, namely Star Saga. These are some of the character models from the game. These are great for a number of settings and systems. I am happy with the bases as I tried to match them in appearance to the game tiles.

I did save them, I don't throw things away.
They are making an appearance right now, on my entry
for Build something in 2022, see my link below.

Cheers Blacksoilbill I was surprised he came out as well as he did considering how he looks unpainted. I do like his bag and bits.

Herewith, Mantic Veer-Myn and GCPS from Project Pandora Game.

One can get a free download from Mantic which updates the Project Pandora game for Star Saga.

Dirty space rats indeed - I did try and make 'em to look a bit filthy...

Herewith, some more Sci-Fi Miniatures by Mantic, namely Star Saga. These are some of the enemies of the character models from the game. These are great for a number of settings and systems, including of course Deadzone. I will likely paint their bases the same as the character models. Plague and others...

The blood on the floor and wall here is perhaps apt.

Feed me Seymour  lol

I find the science team particularly useful. Been desperate to find miniatures I can use as civilians.

Have to comment again as those Star Saga miniatures are superb.

I have used a few from the Star Saga box for games but not as well as you have.

Great stuff!
I love the spider tank
I took the same apprach with my star saga miniature bases, but yours look better.
Great idea to put the fiddly mines on a base.

Cheers Sgt_T, Problem doing the bases like this is now that I have started I need them to all look like this and they take longer than I would like. I was sick of losing the mine thingies lol. I am very happy with the spider tank as you call it - the two games played with it however saw it being destroyed and not doing very well - next time I will boost its stats lol.

Thank you Spinal Tap such kind comments do make the difference. Glad you like them - hope to complete all the Star Saga miniatures, but the box set is surprisingly generous in how many they give you. Especially, when I consider that I bought mine in a Mantic sale for next to nothing. I am looking forward to all the little terrain pieces, which are very useful.

Herewith, a big fella I found, he is some old toy, not sure what exactly... Thought I would repaint him and experiment with lighting and taking pictures. He could also work for a fantasy setting but I gave him a Sci-Fi base to match the Star Saga tiles. He is no doubt suitable for a number of systems and settings. Especially, as I do not have that many Sci-Fi miniatures, especially when compared to fantasy.

Herewith, some Mantic Miniatures, I picked up DreadBall First edition on sale for next to nothing from Mantic when they replaced it with the second edition. I am not at all into sport, so not my cup of tea but thought all the bits would be useful for Sci-Fi gaming especially to have some alien sorts and or civilian miniatures. These are therefore useful perhaps for a number of systems. I did not spend overly long painting them but did want them painted to a relatively good standard - overall happy with the results and utility these miniatures might offer. Already used them in some Star War orientated games one of which the scenario was a prison break which worked well. See: https://frictionbmcminiatures.blogspot.com/2022/02/golgothas-sci-fi-star-wars-another.html

I might play DreadBall at some point I did play in a BloodBowl league at University (WARP Wits University Wargaming and Roleplaying Society) and had the worst team in the competition. My orc team the Grugermurag team - called as such as this was their captain's name. He died in the very first match and the team was then known as the Grugermurag Memorial Team - Happier days...

More pictures here: https://frictionbmcminiatures.blogspot.com/2022/03/golgothas-sci-fi-miniatures-from.html

This is my favourite of these miniatures - and he is definitely no civilian - more of a space pirate.

This thing's eyes are freaky.
