My time as a Blood Bowl coach
« on: 09 May 2020, 08:13:31 PM »
Blood Bowl is not really my thing, as I much more prefer to be a make believe warlord, then a make believe football coach.

However, there is a well sized and well mannered Blood Bowl community and league in my area, and so I did quite a lot of games over the last year.
Building two teams so far, with a third and forth in the making.

First up, I wanted to show my vampire team.

The dugout was a fairly easy build, 3D Printed to fit exactly into the bag I carry the team around in.
The turn and re- roll counter are ghouls rising from their graves.

As for the team itself it is not really a vampire team, it is a poor ghoul team that only got statues of great vampire players. They just shove them around on the field and hope that none of them falls onto them, and that some unlucky players from the opposite team run into them.

The staff, from left to right: a apothecary with two very unlucky wandering apothecary, or what is left of them. Then the assistant coach, just a skeleton dragged to those horrible games, and of course the head coach, the only living ... or at least real vampire on this team.
Next up is the cheerleaders and/ or fame markers of different varieties.
In the background of course a bloodweiser keg, of sorts.

I love this idea, that is so much fun! The conversions on the ghouls are really dynamic too, keep it up!

It has been quite a while, but still thanks for the comments!

And of course, new pictures of my favorite team (at least so far):

The players! Blitzer, runner and trench raiders on the left. The big tank in the middle, and all the blocker goodness you ever need on the right.

The staff of the team. Mascot, female medic and the piglet (or frog) on the left side. Then you got the coach and his book of grudges, together with the assistant coach in the middle.
On the right side you see the star players that now and then assist the team.

Obviously the theme of the team is World War 1, and with the dugout I did my best to make it look like a trench. With the markers for turns and rerolls being not exploded mortar shells.
