For a while I have been thinking about branching out into the Italian Wars and I've finally started to put brush to miniatures. I expect this to be a slow burn project not least of which the time it takes to paint each figure (and I haven't started on the Landsknechts yet).

Here is the first unit typical of the Spanish forces in the early part of the Italian wars, a unit of Genitor light cavalry. Figures by TAG, flag by Pete's Flags and based as skirmishing light cavalry.
