Question about Rules - Antarctic Game
« on: 03 August 2009, 09:47:37 PM »
Hi Everyone,

Alright, now that I have some figures painted up its about time for me to figure out what game system to use.

I have it envisioned that most of the games will revolve around the heroes making it through environmental hardships (ice floes, crevasses, cliffs, etc) as opposed to actual enemies (although there will be those, can you say Yeti and killer penguins?).

And I will eventually expanding to lost jungle cities and small New England towns, along with the decks of ships in open ocean and Egyptian Tombs next to Bedouin villages...

As far as I know there are three major Pulp rules systems:

Rugged Adventures
.45 Adventures
Larger than Life.

I suppose I could just use the Call of Cthulhu RPG, but I was hoping for something a little simpler...  Ideally I would have a system like necromunda or mordhiem,  but slightly more detailed... (although those aren't bad ideas now that I think about it... huh)

Anyway, enough of my ramblings, I look forward to your ideas, thank you!
