Pict force for Dux Britanniarum

During lockdown I thought I may as well get on with my Pict starter force for Dux, I already have Romano British, Saxons and Irish, I am up to 4 groups of 6 raiders and 1 group of 4 skirmishers, I have one more group of missile troop and cavalry to go

That’s a nice group. I’ve been pondering getting a Footsore Pict/Irish force for a while now. Every time I see a nicely painted army like this, I think ‘I really must...’

Yup, me too. Every time I look at their website! which is at least a few times a week. I did cave in to the Matthew Bickley Saxons but it would not have human had I not done so

Bit of an update, the Pict force is pretty much done, waiting on a spare Crossbow figure that was missing in the pack, should be along soon, onto civilians next to populate the farmstead

Those Picts look great! That's my latest army for Saga, as well. If you're going to do a tartan/checkered/tattoo army, do it in 28mm...!
