Oathmark and The Witcher

Hey everyone,

with the release of Oathmark I have started painting some models for use in the Witcher setting.
Here are some of my minis for the army of Lyria and Rivia, a small kingdom in the south if the Northern Realms.
Starting with Queen Meve and her royal banner

Amazing work!  And great painting of the heraldry! Is Meve based on the Perry Miniatures Richard III? She's a great conversion! 

And nice to see some interpretation of the Witcher setting, it seems like a great opportunity for a project!

If you don't mind me asking, will you be focusing on Lyria and Rivia, or will you be looking into other factions as well?

As HappyChappy said, she is based on Richard 3rd from the Perrys. I changed out her sword for a plastic one since the original was bent and added the two tiny shields covering the armpits. The face is the original, but I think it seems rather convincingly female through the application if a bit of lipstick

I really like the Witcher Setting for Wargaming. Since it is a morally grey world, all the factions have rather plausible (though usually not very nice) reasons for being at war with one another.

I have painted some Temerians and Redanians as well, but will be focusing on the Lyrians for one. Then maybe some Scoiatel and at some point Nilfgaard.

Great project! I am quite surprised how well the Richard mini can be converted to a female version. I also like the banner, quite striking.

For now, I'm focussing on the human armies. I have some monsters in my collection and am looking forward to adding some special ones. After all, it wouldn't be the witcher without monsters

I just finished a mini-diorama I like to call "Gnomeo and Goblia". It's an homage to the combining of fantasy races in Oathmark, which I like a lot.
