6 Foundry Wild West foot
6 Foundry Wild West mounted
9 Foundry Boer War cavalry (to become East African Mounted Rifles)

And one parcel to collect when i am home early enough! It really is a pain working 80 kilometres from home. :(
Cheers,

My tiny order from Ironclad turned up this morning, one delectable Mina Harker and a pack of Victorian gentlemen with sporting guns.

The gents are really nice sculpts, very little extraneous detail to get bogged down with and should paint up quickly and cleanly.

As for Mina, well most of it has been said before, but bears repetition of one word: Gorgeous:-*

Any chance of you posting a pic of the gents?

A large assortment of CTV (Italian troops) for the Spanish Civil War. Anglian miniatures, via Brigade. These are easily the most beautiful SCW miniatures I've seen in the flesh. They paint up beautifully, and easily. Remind me very positively of another favorite range, Bob Murch's Pulp Miniatures. (Although, to be quite frank, Lon's own ranges are pretty smashing too.)

My only objection is that not all of the Anglian stuff is currently carried stateside, which is a real downer, as some of the Anglian vehicles are just absolutely perfect!

Although I live in the USA, I recently ordered direct from Anglian.  At the current exchange rate, it turned out to be less expensive to order direct.  (However, it may be the case that Lon has since lowered his prices a bit.)

Today I received 4 WWII characters from Artizan's Thrilling Tales range (Privates Kineer, Miller and Burton and Sgt Major Williams). Full of character, and even better than they look in the photos on the website. Plan on using these with the Incursion Ape suits and some other WWWII and converted figures in an Incursion-style tile game. Possibly using Space Hulk tiles, possibly trying out the Incursion rules.

Also got a set of 3 Major Maxims heroclix cheap from ebay for the same project. About 7 to 8 foot tall in comparison with the other WWII characters, but thats ok. He needs to look intimidating.  :D
Lovely "big baddie" figure.

Might convert one for use as a commissar with my Praetorian Imperial Guard army for WH40K.

Still, a chap ought to look smart in front of the men, don't you think?

Glad to hear ordering from direct worked for you, Mancha. I have mixed results with overseas ordering direct from time to time. What did you get from him? Are you satisfied with the pieces you have?

I'll try and get a couple up over the weekend if I'm able.

On looking at them properly, it occured to me if you gave three of them appropriate hats, you could use them for anything from late Victorian to 1930s. Could bulk out some ECW3 militias with them.

Got the Guardia Civil.  Love 'em.  Wish I'd ordered that crazy Anglian armored truck as well.  Anyone who plays a post-apocalyptic game (a la Mad Max) should be ashamed of themselves if they don't have that truck!
