I received two Cavalry Units from eBay during the holidays. Belgian Napoleonic Carabiniers and Hussars… and guest what, I’m planning on painting them to sell them later on! ;D
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

A nice little box of Pulp Figures awesomeness; cops, servants, gangsters, Neanderthals and some civilians.

The Neanderthals to round out my Lost World settings; the rest to populate my slowly-growing pulp city terrain.

That's most of the Xmas money gone; the rest will probably vanish early next week on a visit to the province's greatest game store over in Vancouver...

I say WL, do let us know when you are in town. Perhaps you would like to pop round for a bite of lunch in Chinatown!

That reminds me to check in with the folks over at Imperial to see if my order from Koplow Dice has arrived.

PM sent, Mr. Peabody; I'll be in Vancouver on Monday the 11th, if anyone else wants to try and do a LAF micro-meet somewhere for a late lunch or coffee!

I've got to be in the Waterfront Station/downtown/Gastown area by 5pm, and other than that have the afternoon free.

And yes, I did mean Imperial Hobby when I mentioned "the province's greatest gaming store". Naturally.  ;)

What started as a "funny" thing while under the influence of alcohol has now spiraled out of control.
Got my latest shipment of Darkest Africa-minis.
30 Zanzibarians (think some Ruga-Rugas where in there as well), 20 Askaris and some characters.

I will start a project log for this when I actually start up this insane project (highly inspired by The Phantom stories).

These much sought after Marauder figures from Svenn:

Very pleased with those.

Also various old empire stuff from ebay and the like including metal handgunners, infantry command figures, a war wagon (without joke), metal cannon and mortar, and this (for some reason I like to have old figures like these still in the box):
