Got some plastic War of the Roses infantry from Perry Miniatures.
At last! A start to my FitzGerald retinue.

Also, there was an offer I couldn't refuse on some Theban Hoplites.
I'm rolling in the plastic figures now! lol

just received CIC04, the 5 soldier french foreign legion pack from Old Glory

what can I say.....
the moulds are clearly terribly worn out. They do not look like on my reference picture below
The first impression was unenthusiastic, and the second close look with a magnifying glass clearly shows destroyed details on the rifles.
I am seriously considering complaining and taking closeup pictures.

What a disappointment.....

I like diversity, and these happen to fit perfectly with Artizan. And I like them. The cast is the problem, not the sculpt

At first glance I thought they were Artizan, however I know that the quality of OG is often a little below par

Got an order from Heroes of the Dark Age.  Never heard of them?  There might be a few reasons for that.

- Took about two weeks to be sent. (not good when I need them urgently for a game next week)
- One shield to be divvied up between three shield-bearing minis.
- The horse for the mounted figure is not the one shown in the website photo.  Not even close.
- It looks like an Ebob horse, which isn't so bad, but seems to have been put through such a clumsy moulding process that it's almost a flat.  Or at least, almost half the width it should be.

Pros:

- They're cheap.  Ish.
- I got a couple of freebies thrown in.
- The guys at the club aren't hypercritical (unlike me).  The minis'll do for now if I can get a lick of paint on.

the moulds are clearly terribly worn out.

However Old Glory agreed to send replacement, so good customer relation is worth something!
