Now to figure out a way to shoe-horn the Prof into the FFFFF. As Roland Garros is in full swing this week, I think I really ought to get back to that.

wow, would love to see the Prof as member of FFFFF  8)

I'll make him a member of tDoNKCoM if you send me one! :-)

Not quite miniatures, but closely related: $50 worth of Reaper Master Class Paints, to re-establish my painting bench with fewer enamels than before!

I've been using Humbrol enamels (the old-fashioned stinky type) since I was ten and starting flinging paint at plastic airplanes; I tried acrylics a few times but a lot of the older hobby acrylics really sucked, to be honest.

I bought a few Reaper & GW paints in the past few years for colours I couldn't get in Humbrol enamels, was quite impressed with the quality overall, and I've been getting tired of using thinners, the smell, etc. So my FLGS ordered  seven or eight Reaper Master Class Triads for me, and I've been quite happy with them for the last week!

Mixing and blending are far easier than with enamels, they're all flat so I don't have to remember which paints are glossy and which flat, and thinning them for impromptu washes is so much easier.

I'll be using the Humbrols for a while yet, especially for metallics and some of the specific colours I don't have in acrylics yet. Pictures in the Pulp forum of the current batch of Pulp Figures 28mms when I'm finished experimenting on them with my new paints!

Beats me, I didn't do nothing.

The Prof is now firmly on the FFFFF agenda, and has in fact jumped the queue. I have two different figures of him (one is the official LAF one), and he gets two planes, too, the lucky bleeder. In fact, I'm considering opening a whole LAF annex of the club, as I have a couple of spare planes and am thinking of adding von Plynkenstein and Tenente Sickleoni.

Well I picked up several of these bits from some Warhammer thing.  Think I will use them as some sort of weird war anti-infantry obstacle.  Just image piles of twitching, grabbing and flailing undead that are soooo hungry affixed all over the battlefield.  Sure would make me think twice going in that direction.
