I've just got hold of the new HMG teams for GB's Turks and a Battalion of GWM late war Germans. I just need to take a month off now so I can paint them!  :?
Cheers

I think I have 8-10 of those that I picked up in a bulk deal, happy to swap for something WW1 British Tropical.

7 Foundry old west zombies from Ebay.

Forwarned by a thread here a few days ago that Foundry had cut the pack to 6 I jumped on these.
Cheers,

Lots of figures from Bronze Age Miniatures that I'm going to use primarily as people of the Hyborian Age: Vikings which I'll use as red-haired Vanir (they have a wilder look than the Foundry Vikings that I'm using as blonde Aesir, which gives a nice contrast); Some Dead Earth adventurers which I'll use as pit fighters; Some other figures from sundry ranges which'll likewise become pit fighters, plus an adventurer or two; Finally, one of their harem sets, which are good value for money ($12 for 8 figures) and are almost obligatory for a setting like the Hyborian Age.

Too bad my paints are elsewhere right now.

28mm Bronze Age Harem? I can't see that on their site?

They're under "Dead Earth Imperials" in the Sci-fi range, there are two different packs. They're semi-nude and mostly in reclining poses. So basically, similar to the Hasslefree harem women, but WAY cheaper. The sculpting style is different, but not of worse quality than Hasslefree.

Ah, now I see, I have some of those, they are very nice. So far, they have only seen an undercoat, I might try to convince one of our better painters to do them justice.

My pal brought me back some Britannia Napoleonic Brit and French naval officers from Historicon. I was a bit leery of them from the pics on their site, but it looks like only Britannia and Steve barber make anything like them in 28mm I have to say I am quite happy with the raw castings. I hope to have them leading daring shore parties in Sharpe practice games soon!

I had a kind of lead fury this month - maybe to balance the real life foly..

So it began with a very nice lot of Old West Townies from a very smooth transaction with Skrapwelder via le Bazar : Thanks Mike !

Then I recieved an Old RAFM order : I waited two months, one of the blisters was the wrong one, but Brock from RAFM was nice.

I wanted the Moonbeast since I saw here the one painted by FatGoblin  :-* and idem for the Steve Dean's Giant Snake.
And I would like to test the FIW range to accompany my Conquest stuff : they are really on the small side, the figs are full of flash but I love them (pretty old school look !)

Then I tried the North Star Services to get at last "This Very Ground" I fancy for a long time. And on impulse, I ordered the two anarchists : very nice figs ( the mexican had a BAR !)

And finally, because of Mancha ;), I was lucky to get one of the lasts Cossacks from the CMON deal and even more lucky to recieve them in 5 days !

Now, I promise myself to post only something painted next...

meow,
Matt

PS : It was the first time I get minis in blisters, and as I found them pretty nice, I tried to share them...
