I picked up a load of the new Crusader Napoleonic French on my Thursday trip to Old Glory. These are for Sharpe Practice, which I played for the first time two weeks ago and loved!

I received my order from Crusader minis ( North Star) last week. Those napoleonic are big, nice figures!

Today I received reinforcments from Sandhurst to my Indian army:  BG Sikh command I and the spanking new II. There are images of the first command group on their site but not the second one. It's a nice one havildar with a Lewis gun, to native officers (one with a Webley the other with a map) and one British officer in a peaked cap. I also got the two Vickers teams in hot weather gear and Wolsleys, one team marching, the other firing. Lovley.

This week I got an order from Hasslefree, including the new Witch Hazel figure to make a Liz Sherman for my BPRD project out of, and the not-Scooby Gang, just for kicks. Lovely.

Also my first order from Black Hat, a bunch of paints, the Monkey Magic figure set from the Dragon Kingdoms range, a present for a certain Chimp (providing he behaves himself) and this guy:



Originally included just to make up the order, I am absurdly happy with him. And he's huge! Absolutely massive!

He is now going to become bodyguard to my Foundry Voodoo Pimp, Baron Saturday Nite, and has been christened Noticeably F.A.T. (blame Futurama for that one). 

Very happy. Mojo is working again. Thank you Black Hat!

My latest arrivals are a small horde of Cold War era Soviets in winter gear from Mongrel Minis.

The whole, don't start gaming any more different periods, plan isn't going so well.  But they are such nice models.

Found another source for the Lucky Luke minis and had this batch arrive:

Had to pay full retail though (ouch) and they each came with a little booklet and a dvd with one episode of the cartoon.

And some 40mm plastic Saint Seiya minis (more nostalgia from the cartoons of my youth):

Not at all, I actually got the suggestion from someone on TMP (would have never found it otherwise).
I got them through http://www.journaux.fr which is actually a source for newspapers, periodicals, magazines,...

The downside is you can't get just the figures, so you'll end up with the booklets and the dvd's (which also makes them pricey). But I had to have them and I figure that if I can place another order next month, I should have most if not all of the range.
