Am I using this wrong?

I don’t mean to be a negative soul but it seems like there’s not enough comments in the gallery uploads.

I may be wrong here but I feel there’s not enough. I’ve scrolled through and commented where I wanted to but saw no others. I personally want to do a blog/post on Lovecraftian and other horror related things here but I would feel it would fall on deaf ears, please someone say am wrong?

Hi,

The gallery is primarily intended to host pictures which can then be hotlinked in discussion threads, where they usually find a greater audience.

It is more of an addendum to the discussion board mission of the forum than vice-versa.

I never look at the galleries, I thought they only existed in order to add links to threads.
The posts is where it's at.

Start a thread on your Lovecraft project and add some pictures and you'll get responses.

Thanks folks, I must just be so used to other forums where they're dependant on picture posts haha thank you for a quick reply!  I just felt like I was logged into an absent site sorry!

Yeah, the boards themselves are where the action is. Don't worry about the gallery not getting enough love, I'm sure many LAF users never even look at it, as there isn't really much need to (unless you absolutely want to look at someone's work without having to read what they have to say ). I only go there myself to upload pics, and most of the views on my own pics are just me checking they look okay.
