BTW Pilgrim - I'd definitely be interested in a collapsed highway section. Not really sure on cost though.

Couldn't see the Buy It Now option though. Am I going mad?
Some ones placed a bid so it knocks it out

Not sure whats wrong w the B I N - but ebay is charging me for it - figures!

The collapsed highway thing should be pretty viable but the problem would be the base of each pillar - you would need a fairly large table footprint to make it stable, and to make any visual sense it needs to be at least a pair I would say. Actual construction I would use 50mm pink foam for the pillars and maybe 25mm for the roadbed.

Posting is a different matter - the thing would be a good 30cm high at least to get the right effect so that would be a damned big box, even if weight was not so much

I'll have to come back from Point Lookout tonight to have a good look at the actual detailing - Girdershade would probably be the best place to look :-)

Nice - that looks like a plasticville building, the garages are nice too.

Ooops - not Plasticville on second glance - scratch built

Not to reveal too many details, but I've just finished my overpass, at least the construction.  Since it has to pass over the Capital Beltway, I did two large pieces with attached road and then a smaler central piece to hold the middle.  I also did two collapse pieces that rest diagonally against the larger pieces.  I used wood dowel for the columns and gatorboard for the roads.  It's based on MDF.

Last chance on those scenery bits, one day to go.

If I said I need the money to feed my kitten would that help?
