A huge thank you!
« on: 01 September 2020, 04:50:56 PM »
I need to give a shout out to two amazing companies and their  kind hearted owners. M & C Models and Elhiem Figures. A few months ago my entire collection of modern 20mm minis, that I had collected and painted of the last 10 years, was stolen during a home invasion. Sad part is the thief likely had no idea what they took as they were in a $600 Stainless Steel and chrome caring case my wife had gotten me and that's why I think they took it. I reached out on several facebook pages asking people to keep an eye just in case they stolen minis ended up on a market somewhere. To my great surprise, both the owners of these two companies reached out and offered to send me some minis, at no cost to me, in order to help restart my collection. This post cannot being to express my thanks and gratitude for their kindness. As an active duty military member myself, I had used my collection to help educate others on the challenges faced in today's combat theaters. Their donations have nearly restored the number of Modern Middle East theater collection. Now I just have a lot of painting to get to.
Please check these companies out!

It has always amazed me how many really good and helpful people are in our hobby.
Especially many of the owners of companies. For every negative comment one will see
about a company there are four times as many positives comments.

Blimey, what an awful thing to happen. At least you've had a fairly good outcome and hopefully restored your faith in humanity.
