Glueing plasticard to MDF

Hi everyone,

Need help as it something I haven't done before.
What is the best thing to use to glue plastikard to MDF?

Cheap cyanoacrylate superglue.

Or Araldite - I use MDF bases and for plastic miniatures I glue them to thin plasticard bases (like integral bases on metal minis) then araldite them to the MDF, covering the magnet hole. No chance of rebasing ever, mind!

If you roughed up the styrene wouldn't 5 minute epoxy work?

No more nails or equivalent.


Key point as above - rough up the plastic to give the glue something to grip to.

Really not much difference to gluing plasticard to balsa wood, which is precisely what I was doing earlier in the week. Superglue does the job.

When in doubt ZAP superglue will glue just about anything to anything but I used the cheap stuff for my project and it works just fine.
