You wouldnt want to be an indian re-enactor in the UK knowing our summers unless you can withstand the cold ;D

I think they wait for the warmest day of the year and then re-enact the "Battle on Snowshoes" battle on snowshoes  lol

I'm jealous of you Americans - so many 18th century reenactors in just ONE group. In Germany one can be happy to see 30 men (and women) forming one battalion. Of course, they are originally from 10 to 15 different units. ;D
On the other hand it seems we have hard-bitten chaps here - cold summer round here, but nothing to scare the "Natives" I pictured above...

Oops, sorry for OT.

Re size comparison query, Adster did this pic a while back:

There are pics of Galloping Major Mohawk and Redoubt Woodland Indians together on the Gallery page.

Great pic Lowtardog, amply demonstrates tribal preferences for particular colours of warpaint.

One other question for you.... are the Canadian Militia from the same stature dollies as the Mohawk? ..... am just trying to get a handle on how they'd compare sizewise as well as my French are presently somewhat deficient.

Yes, we're keeping the stature pretty constant.
We'll be releasing French rugulars later (along with everything for the period).

I'm about to put up a painting guide for Canadian Militia this weekend, if you're interested I put up a few concept sketches for our first rangers on the Studio page recently.

Great .... I'll order some!
The scotch bonnet is a very welcome addition.

Thanks  :D
Glad you like the sketches - The intention is for the first couple of packs of Rangers to be one pack wearing caps, the other in bonnets, to allow you to control the mix in your units. After that they'll probably be more of a mix.

Canadian Militia painting guide now up.

Yes indeed  :D
(I know you've been waiting for these, still working on the last few greens for the first 3 packs)
