Lovely job on those minis 👍

Thank you!

Excellent  :-*

Nothing quite like an advancing Shieldwall for visual impact  8)

Thanks, I know the move for wargaming has gone to skirmish games with individual miniatures but I still love the look of mass ranked figures!

Yep, me too. Nothing at all wrong with skirmish wargaming, the games can look utterly stunning as demonstrated recently on some of the Never mind the Billhooks threads here in the Med. section, but you just cannot beat massed ranks in large battles IMHO.

Another multi based unit of Crusader Miniatures Saxons (with a Victrix priest snuck in).

Shots of the individual bases:

I know that Victrix has been releasing stunning plastic kits but there’s just something about the Crusader figures that I really like.

The fyrd has been raised, the men are bolstered by the local priest and thegns to stiffen their resolve.  Figures are from Crusader Miniatures with the priest from Victrix.

Some pics of the individual bases:

Lovely mate  :-*

A great sight to behold as I've been painting quite a few Anglo Danes myself recently :)
