Steampunk flying saucers! They came out a treat.

Your whole skyship collection is looking brilliant. Do you have a specific campaign or scenario in mind for these, or are you collecting a cornucopia of cloud-crossing conveyances?
Operating from an abandoned US spy base somewhere in the Australian outback, Miniature Martin produces games and scale miniatures set in parallel worlds, past and future. He is NOT trying to take over the Earth. This time.

Cheers  :)

Nothing specific but they will no doubt be tied into my Mars project somehow.
cheers

Finished off a couple of merchant ships and a selection of British. Also took some ‘better’ photos of everything painted so far  :)

(‘Better’ being subjective  lol )

Nicely painted up fleets well done!

The last group remind me of the Imperial Russian circular ironclad, the Novgorod?

Cheers!

Yeah, they’re from the Russian range which also has a couple of the round ships  8)

Some really great fleets here! I’ve just been looking at the Brigade ranges - I feel these photos will just encourage me to spend more!

This might not be in the spirit of the thing (!) but how to the gun platforms keep station?? Do they have engines to offset the recoil from the guns?

I assume the antigrav tech is cavourite or liftwood or whatever but that doesn't do anything in the horizontal dimension (er, so to speak...)

P.S. Gorgeous models!

Got no idea and to be honest, not that bothered  lol

The 28mm one I made a few years ago was tethered to the ground but if I were to make another then a ‘ring’ of propellers around the circumference would probably do the trick  :)
