I bought one of the 'digs' at Colours just to see what it was like and I was impressed. I've painted it in British colours (well, it's got a British flag on it  ) and added some rigging along the spines.

Not sure about the blue background as I'm trying to find something that works for all of my neffs but no luck yet.
