As the beach landing party infiltrated into the village, the blocking party arrived in VBLs which had been airlifted in land. @RobJonesHistory timed his attack to perfection, beginning with the French Commandement des forces spéciales Terre eliminating the pirates on the Titan.

With the Titan secured, the Legionnaires started to systematically search the village for the ship’s crew, neutralising the bad guys as they presented themselves. With its strong ties to funding ISIS operations, ceasing the piracy activity in the Indian Ocean was a priority.

Beautiful looking table mate - the advantage of having so many useful terrain pieces that are suitable for multiple genres.

That container ship is absolutely cracking...really must do something with my copy

Prior to the French attack going in, satellite imagery had provided excellent intelligence on the pirate camp. The Legionnaires were quickly able to envelop the position and used the cover of darkness to form an iron tight cordon, compressing the enemy towards the ocean.

As the first rays of dawn began to roll across the pirate encampment, the special forces on the Titan had a ring side seat. The French kill ratio was starting to rack up, as most of the pirate were still high on khat and fearless. Legion snipers were taking a heavy body count.

The Somalis were now in complete disarray, desperately attempting to escape the killing zone. But the Legionnaires were taking no risks, as they knew the pirates may attempt to kill their hostages in a vengeful act.

Once the Legion had eliminated all the threats in the village, they found the Titan’s crew tied up in two of the huts. These French citizens were extremely shaken but all were alive. Mission accomplished, the French Task Force 🇫🇷 prepared to extract themselves from Mozambique.
