Just need to add some rubble, black bin bags and some discarded newspapers to litter the floor
I based my bin bags on partial Renedra round bases https://ultravanillasmurf.blogspot.com/2020/01/what-load-of-rubbish.html
I arranged how the bin bags would fit on 30 and 40mm bases then cut a segment from the base allowing it to be placed up against a wall.

I have zip lock bag with a similar cut base and a Crooked Dice mattress cut in two to be a door blocking scenery piece.

I read in a railway magazine that cigarette papers make good newspapers.

Just as well. I can say from personal experience that news print makes a very poor substitute for ciggy papers, as does army bog paper.  :(

Thank you for the advice chaps 👍🏻

I was looking at several model railway products which seem suitable, including some nice potted plants to add a bit of greenery to the layout.

Wheely bins.
I'm serious - they're practically everywhere now, even in some areas of Russia, especially the urban areas - although the most common colour appears to be blue, which might be for household waste (the Russians recently introduced a colour-coding system for their bins which I couldn't translate).
And all that came from seeing a Hampshire council wheely bin in a photo of Ukraine which I then thought might be good for a Zona Alfa board!  lol

Indeed, both shocked and amazed. Someone with a command of Cyrillic can probably tell what all the bin colours are for but they are dealing with household waste, ordinary recycling, electronic device recycling and several others. And, it seems, at a national level, not just local initiatives. Good news for modellers as one or two types/colours of wheely bin should be good for anywhere in Russia.

You shouldn't be, they've been recycling their tanks like billy-oh, these last few years. ;)

Cold War Gets Hot 1999 - British supplied Tracked Rapier. A surface-to-air missile system developed to replace the Bofors 40/L70 anti-aircraft guns. The system is unusual as it uses a manual optical guidance system, sending guidance commands to the missile in flight. Lets lock those skies down.
