But it’s tempting to get the El Cid figures out of the loft!
We could see how Midgard works for Reconquista..?

I wanted to ask the very same question but wasn't sure if I ought to raise it. It would be interesting to find out so please include me as an observer of possible James and Tom :)

"And the legend beggins..."

I liked so far. Very entertaining and diferent from many other series.
Clothes where nice and not the usual "curtains" as historical wardrobe.
Acting could be better as well as the battle scenes but overall i think its pretty reasonable.
I think Spain is getting with a right foot on the international television market.

Both Amazon and Netflix have both said they want to invest in more content for Southern Europe (which for them is currently just Spain and Italy) so expect to see more Spanish & Italian productions in the near future. Netflix already have several productions in their line up from last year, mostly set in Andalusia. Warrior Nun and Toy Boy are absurd programmes but the locations are gorgeous.

I saw the first four part and like it a lot. There are flaws, but overall very good show. And there are some nice details like the dispute about this new norman style use of a lance.  lol

No undercut hair style and no biker leather trousers! I hate vikings and all this fantasy shows ...

Despite a decent German dubbed version, I saw the Spanish version with subtitles and this really adds a lot of flavour.

I have to look in my basement for the WAB El CiD supplement.

The First and Second Italian Wars would make for a great series. French, Swiss, Italian and Spanish with guns roaring and pikes levelled- what's not to like?

Someone write a script and get it sent it!  :D

Only if we get hundreds of guys bashing on each other....

Makes me miss older Hollywood films, when there really were 5k people in the stands.
On time, on target, or the next one's free
