What a cool thread. :D featuring a great collection of figures. I miss blisters. And going to shops. And seeing more than two figure manufacturers (plus "flavour of the month thing") on shelves. :D Oh well, good stuff.

Thanks everyone! It's been a rough month for me, but I once again just barely managed to paint enough figures for my April entry. This time a mix of troops, weapon platforms, and a murder-bot...

More pics, custom Chapter Approved style squad listing, running tally of my challenge entries and a bit of silly fluff at the Old World Army Challenge site... http://oldworldarmychallenge.blogspot.com/2021/05/zerotwentythrees-april-eldar-pirates.html

nicely done, and inspired painting, and bit of fluff to.

REally wish I had time to dig mine out to slap paint on.

Maybe soon.

Really like the paint on that bot.

Thank you, all. This month was a struggle, but also fun when I could get to it.

REally wish I had time to dig mine out to slap paint on.

That's oddly similar to my own advice, that I keep failing to take   ::)

I work too much. thats the issue 12 or 16 hours is not unusual while still being on "standby". Techy nonsense, and cheap bosses for you.

But you know what, with the stargraves, rogue stars, and other sci-fi rules on the shelves,

OK, let me find some time somehow to make a "crew", If nothing else. Nothing instant, but I NEED to start posting piccies and achieving more,

even if you do it better :)

I definitely understand that. I'm not exactly working quite that many hours, but working at home, plus making sure my daughter (who is also still remote learning at home) is keeping up with her schoolwork, getting lunch, and other household maintenance, it's been very difficult to find painting time lately. I've really struggled to get my monthly entry in for this year's challenge. But when I do it's a nice escape from the stress and everything else. I wish you luck in finding at least a little time to paint.

Thanks!

I almost didn't make my goal for May. But I rearranged my May & June plans and just barely made it. So I'm still in the game. More details at http://oldworldarmychallenge.blogspot.com/2021/06/zerotwentythrees-may-eldar-pirates-237.html
