It's been a struggle to find time to paint, but I managed to get my last (June) entry for the Old World Army Challenge completed.

There will be a wrap-up post coming soon, complete with photo(s) of the full OWAC band of Eldar Pirates painted over the last six months.

At some point I also painted this RoboKali. Plastic figure from eBay, not sure of the origin/manufacturer. It will be added to my robot revolutionaries. Eldar included for scale comparison.

I love it all but
RoboKali
is flippin' awesome. What an interesting miniature.

Cool to see RT Eldar painted up :)
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

Agreed.  I miss the days before Aspect Warriors were a thing.  And the Robokali is amazing.  Wonder who makes that one?

Its from a game called 'World of Smog', "Moloch Automaton".

Thanks.  I've actually heard of that one but never seen it in person.

Thank you! Just looked the game up, looks like a lot of unique figures.

With the last entry in the Old World Army Challenge submitted in June, July is the month of wrap-up posts. Mine has been published on the site. Fully army photos & a bit of commentary and "what's next."

After months of painting/gaming drought, I'm back (a little bit). 2021 sucks.

Painting for some hopeful future general sci-fi gaming, more specifically looking at RT and Five Parsecs. But also just what I like. More info, more pics and commentary at my website. https://www.zerotwentythree.com/2021/11/five-parsecs-from-gaming.html

Nulltron, washed up egotistical robot overlord; Slem, time and space displaced fianna Fimir turned galactic fringe bounty hunter; and Jaz, just Jaz.

David Rattenborough, famed Spaven naturalist & mutalogical engineer, with his field assistant, Gleek. Seen here with a vox caster, no doubt presenting the findings of his latest expedition.

99% done painting. Still need inspiration to hit for something entertaining to paint on the scroll.

Not sure if she's summoning them up from below ground or about to get eaten. Pic could be telling either story.

One more figure painted, plus small terrain piece kitbashed from various bits of trash.

Casual Wraith Friday at work for Halloween. Sadly I had no video meetings.

I've finished my 10 figure painting challenge! Plus the two worms posted previously, and some new adversaries -- Spiders From Mars and Astro-Zombies.  :D I decided to paint the spiders as a quick & cheap fix until I get some more alien "bugs" but I'm becoming fond of their simple charm.

Those look excellent! I like the mix of crew figures, they give the impression of being the dregs collected on half a dozen worlds. The spiders and zombies look sharp too!

The rusty murder-bot is by far my favorite so far.  Fabulous stuff!

Thanks!

I've been doing some more painting over the holiday, even though I don't have much time off work (like... only one day  :-[ )

Painted the rest of the purple worms, for a total of 6. Also some gangers from Grenadier & Bad Squiddo, and a weird little Spaven mutant/familiar.

Purple worm family photo.  :D

More soon!
