Hi, my entry for Vignette comp. Miniatures are slightly converted Perry plastics. "Before the battle" shows De Veres with a man at arms a billman and bow man. Banner, surcote, sash and scrolls are thin tin foil.

Great and thank you for the entry! Logged! Do you mind if we Tweet/Instagram the pictures and credit you as part of promo for remainder of competition - unless you are going to tweet yourself and we will RT?

I won't be doing a vignette, but I'll be playing at leastvone skirmish using the "Knyghte, Pyke, and Sworde" rules from Nordic Weasel Games. I've begun painting and my opponent is already set, so it looks like it's going to happen.

Can I ask, is it possible to post WIP pictures of the vignette?

I was asking as it might just spur me on into actually getting something together and entering! :)

Sorry, I ought to have worded my post a little more clearly..... what I was asking, is; is it OK to post WIP pictures of our work as we put the vignette together and during the painting process or would you just prefer an image or three of the final piece Winston?

As regards the global day of WOTR battles, I'm in, as the bishop said to the actress.
The laws of probability do not apply to my dice in wargames or to my finesses in bridge.

If I may, I'll post the pix and the battle result here, since I don't have the approved social media accounts but should love to be in with this lot and am wearing my brushes out painting both armies here in Bangkok. Will this be allowed? You won't have many WOTR engagements fought in SE Asia, I suspect.

Some nice entries so far. I love the scrolls and armet on De Vere's table, and always good to see Clifford's red wyvern flying!
My entry is set in the lawless Royal Forest of Knaresborough, and also partly inspired by The Black Arrow, by RL Stevenson. The steward, and Percy supporter, Sir William Plumpton is, rather unsuccessfully, trying to chase down a local outlaw!

No reply yet to my question: may we post the results of our battle here in May?
