Would these rules work for Star Trek starship combat? Starfighters would imply that they are more suited for smaller craft?

The rules have a section for designing large ships towards the end of the rules.  There is also a section in the main body of the rules for including large ships in a fighter game.   The large ship section of the rules has three classes -small, medium, and large.  I used the information from the large ships section of the star fighter rules to add a fourth, extra-large class.   The classes have a basic number of modules (5, 10, 15, and 20) and damage points, which can be increased from the basic numbers.

Ive got some notes on using them fir Crimson Skies.

:o  I have a shoe box full of the old Wizkids Crimson Skies models I collected when they were being sold off cheap.  Never been used.

I also have FFoL Starfighters (which I have not played yet)

I'd love the chance to put the two together.

I'd love the chance to put the two together.

I recently completed my entire collection of these, bar one set (wanna trade? :D ), as I'm a huge fan of the old PC game, and I even bought an aerial mat to play on.

The plan was to port the X-Wing rules to CS, but I'm not adverse to trying other matching rulesets...

I actually love the FASA Crimson Skies game. Tons of the metal minis. But it just can’t handle 6-8 players in a decent amount if time. Just wasn’t built for it. My beloved Missouri Air Militia has seen many a dogfight with the ISA. But now I can get the whole fleet out!

They're pretty dang cheap too. I believe they've been used in a variety of boardgames and also a miniature starfighter game; may have been Full Thrust.
