How robust are the flag poles on Perry plastics?
« on: 18 February 2021, 05:33:47 PM »
Got a few boxes of Perry ACW plastic infantry, great figures!  But I'm looking at the flag poles for the standard bearers and wondering how robust they are. Has anyone had issues with them breaking? Wondering if I should consider the added work of swapping the plastic poles for metal ones!

Cheers.

Cram, they're pretty good.
They can be pulled in one direction slightly then let loose and they twang back, suggesting the plastic is durable.
As with subbuteo...carefully does it.

I've had no issues in the boxes I've purchased in the last few months.

My only gripe is that the first generic box out can be awkward on occasion if you intend to 'animate' your figures but I guess their purpose is figs on the table rather than conversions.

Exodus 1:10 KJV
Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land.
