Gents,
I've cobbled together some thoughts on campaigning and utilising an ingenious narrative campaign method tweaked for purpose.
Our campaign is set in the Seven Years War based around the 1759 French offensive in Western Germany.
The initial post describes the campaign, with the follow on post kicking off the campaign and with the first battle having been fought.
We find this a most useful campaign method for running and organising games for structured scenario play based on real forces in theatre. Really the only thing missing is a map and cunning map moves all of which can require a burden on campaign organisers that often result in campaigns fizzling out.
I trust they'll be some useful ideas in there.
Cheers
Happy Wanderer
Ps - I know there are no sexy 'lead pics' in this post but I thought ideas for the use of such might still be a useful post for people to check out
