Slash & Burn
« on: 02 September 2009, 02:36:22 PM »
Been waiting for an excuse to paint this guy for some time. Getting some figures ready for the AE Bounty game gave me that reason to dig him out and slap some paint on him!

More pics on the blog here:

Thanks for looking!

He seems to enjoy his work with that flashing smile.  :)

I know! Rarely have I painted a miniature who looked like he was having more fun than this gent.

You know, it's good to enjoy your work!

The grin!

The chin!

Awesome mini. I like his cigar too. Definitely a man happy in his work.

He must have been a salesman before doing what he's doing now. Insurance salesman, maybe?

I bet he's lecturing someone on the errors of their ways before he ends their sorry existence on the face of this planet.  :D  lol

I think he's great!  ;)

Thanks!  A lot of those old Shadowrun minis can be re-purposed for generic sci-fi use. Bums me out I traded a bunch off in an unpainted metal purge a couple years ago.

The cigar.  Gosh he reminds me of a once good guy gone bad kinda fella.  This is a great figure.  He's the type of villain you love to hate.  Great paint job!  The cigar, it has to be Cuban.......

Thanks, guys! He gets his cigars from the interdicted world of Cuba-IV. It's tough to bust through the Imperial Naval blockades, but he is a smuggler after all!

And with his flame gun, he never needs a match! lol

Oh, and Darkoath, he is from the Shadowrun line.
