Thanks Pete.   Not quite sure what I’m after yet, but I know I’m getting sick of being presented with laser cut mdf EVERY time I search for something.

That's OK then as I don't do modern technology like:-
laser cutting MDF, 3D printing, elec-trickery, horseless
carriages et. etc. :D

Your graveyard suits the Bloody Miniatures terribly well  8)

Glad you like the figures. Fair to say the dismounted troopers are by some way the best seller of the eight packs I’ve put out so far. Maybe I need to do a Dismounted troopers 2 ;) lol

Go for it fella!

Whilst you are at it, how about an animated set of musketeers and one of pike?  For someone like m3 that only wants to skirmish ECW, I really don’t want to be buying packs of  same pose infantry to get a few minis!

Edit:

Better pic of the witch.   The statue of the virgin is from total battle minis.   I made a plain bricked board to stand it on as it looks great in the yard in my opinion, but I’m keeping it loose to place in town square etc for ww2 games.

Have to wait a week or so for the missing grave stones unfortunately, so time to move onto another project for a bit…

Re: Anyone seen a witch? - Britains Trees
« Reply #82 on: February 15, 2022, 04:23:31 PM »
Trying to breathe a little life into these two Britains trees.   One will be incorporated into a graveyard plate, but I’ve left this one loose.

They are in my opinion among the best trees ever produced.  My grandfather built me a toy farm when I was five years old, which featured a lot of Britains animals, vehicles and trees……so these are effectively fifty years old!   Annoying that no one can produce them today….they’d probably try to make them from laser cut mdf!

They are a little brittle at the twiggy ends due to age.   The plastic is a bugger to stick….I had to soak these in superglue to get the branches to stick on, then leave for at least 24 hours to dry hard.

I can’t do much with the leaves as they are too flexible and rubbery, but luckily, age has weathered them a bit anyway.

A quick dry brush and a little work on the base and I think they look great.

Just wish I could get my hands on more of them!

Lovely stuff, that tree is great. The whole board is a triumph! :-*

Agreed you can be very proud of that lovely terrain and the Britains tree is a great addition. These are hard to come by and thanks to you I think the price just went up...  lol

 Do love the cemetery.

So lets see some more witches... Maybe a really hideous hag and a real beautiful seductress. Some cats too... Reaper has some options.

Cheers fellas….much appreciated.

Those look good Pete…just not the weapons I’d want…..but what am I talking about…..having converted a whole skeleton imperial guard army, for certain I could do a few of these with appropriate weapons…..

I’m concentrating on the “plain old boring” yard firstly with plans already for the next few sections.  Once done, I will then tackle such things as replacement sections suddenly reflecting say opening graves,  dug up coffins etc.

Of course, I am no closer to sorting out how to play over it….but that can come in time.   Let’s set the scene first! 😢
