Getting excited & making jokes about dropping Nepalm on little Asian Children in a Viet' village doesn't make it ok just because 'it's wargaming & not real'. You wanker scum need to look again at the real photographic horror of such chemical weapons. Seriously Disgusting mind set amongst some you.

Thanks Clach Umha. I used to be able to get off cuts of plastic board from my local plastic dealer to base my terrain on but I haven't been able to do that for a couple of years. Now I just buy the occasional 4'x4' sheet of 1/16th inch styrene sheet for about $30 for my basing needs.

Does anyone know of a source or sources in the U.S. for styrene plastic sheets? The local hobby stores carry only 6"x12" sections, and I'm looking for something bigger.

Great, functional pieces, by the way!

MikeDemana try home depot for some signs, like the “for sale” ones. I think they’re styrene but might be thicker than you want.

Hey Mike, not sure where you live in the US but I would imagine there is a local or regional plastics dealer. Where I live on the west coast we have a dealer called TAP Plastics. I'm not sure what to suggest beyond checking out what might be nearby on Google.  Also, as pistolpete has suggested you might be able to find larger styrene sheets available for order at a local big box diy store like Home Depot or Lowes.

As others have said, look locally for signmakers and/or industrial plastics suppliers. The local chain for me happens to actually be called "Industrial Paint & Plastic" and they sell 4 foot by 3 foot sheets of styrene in either .030 or .040 inch for not a lot. It's been a couple years since I bought my last sheet but I think I paid under $30 Canadian, which given what the hobby shops want for an 8x10 or smaller sheet of Evergreen is a screaming bargin. I'm sure prices have gone up, I've just used the last substantial piece of my last big styrene sheet for my BSC project so I'll be shopping again very soon.

No worries. Hopefully you are able to find a suitable material dealer near your location.
