Yes I've read both those books. Porch is one of the few who has written about the Voulet-Chanoine expedition and the battle of Kousseri which im greatly interested in. Would love to see some Senegalese Tirailluers which fought mainly in sub-sahara Africa but had a lot of troops in Morocco.

If Heart of Darkness would have not been inspired on the Belgian Congo, the Voulet-Chanoine Mission would have provided plenty of inspiration to Conrad.

Porch is good? Well, apparently I need to add another book to my increasingly long list of "must read"!  lol

Pics of (almost all) the new codes added to the website. The miniatures with light field equipment are mainly conversions of the full marching order codes. And here a couple of samples of painted minis. More to follow

Do I need these figures? NO!  :-X
Do I want them? YESSSSSS!  :-*

One question, though: for which timeframe would these uniforms be correct?

Thanks and - see you soon at your webstore!

Cheers,
Peter

 lol

Those were designed for c.1900, mainly for actions in the Sud Oranais: the combats for the oasis in the loose frontier between Algeria and Morocco south of the Atlas, and up to the early stages (pre-WW1) of the conquest of Morocco.

Thanks for the information.

Will there be - in the future - also mounted Légionnaires and French Spahis? They will be needed there...

I just made my first order, can't wait to get the figures!

Cheers,
Peter

Hi Peter
The plan is to make other French colonial troops such as Spahis, Goumiers and Tirailleurs. But Arabs/Berbers enemies will come first!

Thank you very much for your order!

Finally, some pics of our more recent new releases, starting with the mounted officers (Paul Brundsaux is the one with the formidable forked beard)

Really lovely figures, so full of character.   :-* :-*

Are you planning on producing casualty figures, especially a couple propped up on the battlements of the fort?
