Thanks!

Well great game last night….brutal and engaging….so much so we forgot to take many pics, and once we realised….it was closer to the end of the game!

As it happened, we played the follow up game to Spy, Breakthrough.   This saw me trying to hurry the spy I found last game across the table but Jamie’s monks were blocking the way!

Slaying the monks companion with the first attack looked like it may be a quick game!

However, we were playing with 29 points…..something we have come to realise is too much to guarantee squeezing in a game in the available hours, plus restricting the table a little.   None the less we pressed on, having to call it a draw as the night closed in!

However, a few great moments.   One of Jamie’s Temple Guard proved to be a real tough input to crack!   He withstood many an attack and it became personal trying to hammer him down!

I lost all my characters by the end, with Jamie’s head monk, wounded but still bossing the table at the end.   Had we been able to continue, it was obvious he’d go on to win I think.

My falconer had been given the responsibility to shepherd the spy but this was a slow process and at one point he lost his nerve and she ran and his in the nearest copse….luckily his keen eye found her again, but he was too far back to move here forward enough.

Great fun though, looking forward another game before the New Year!

A few last minute pics from the game
