And now on to some VC.  Rubicon chaps (mostly anyway - I did put in a Warlord Bolt Action Mauser and M1 carbine, with Warlord arms, just to mix it up a bit...).  Enjoy!

Love the natural and realistic-looking paint jobs. Be curious to see your 20mm Vietnam minis, do you have a link where one could see them as you said: "My first tour was in 20mm".

Thanks, Tom.  Should post pics of the Rubicon US fellas next week...

Be curious to see your 20mm Vietnam minis, do you have a link where one could see them as you said: "My first tour was in 20mm".

Unfortunately, I don't maintain a web presence (no FaceBook or blog or anything like that).  I'd have to take a bunch of pics and post them here...who know - maybe I will...

And here is my 1st Rubicon squad.  Organized as US Army, but without shoulder patches.  Thus, they could be just about any US Army or Marine infantry unit...

The box of 30 will provide me with a Platoon HQ, a MG squad, and 2 rifle squads.  This will be in addition to the mostly-Empress 1st Cav Div platoon I'm working on...all in due time, or course...

Those look really good! :-* Don't think I could justify many/any more USMC but it does hold decent prospects for their forthcoming US Army box.

Thanks, fellas!  Those chaps were quite enjoyable to put together and paint.

It looks like the Rubicon US Army boys will be similarly posed as their USMC guys, but sans flak jacket and with several loaded Ruck rigs One could hang on those poor fellas' backs....I'll def be getting a box...

Great work on those rubicon figures - I’m guessing you still have plenty of spare kit that can be used to further customise the Empress minis as well?
