I have a bad case of prescient nostalgia. The future's not what it used to be.

I really like the style of the first photo - did you use particular filters or something post-shot to make it look like that?

The second photo - those faces are amazing!

here you go!

From the grassy uplands and forests that sit at the foot of the range of mountains that divide Far Harad and Khand come the Ubhadi. A race of very primitive gigantic tribesmen, all over eight feet tall, that live in the verdant area between the grasslands and the forest. They are a violent people, extremely aggressive and so very strong that they are rumoured to be a race of “half trolls”. They have a very crude culture that is centred on a worship of the Grakhuul whose image they replicate in their strange club-pick weaponry and the crude imagery on their shields. Their language, if they have one, is unknown, they seem to communicate in grunts.

From The Empire by Whaddia No Haradrim philosopher

These very primitive tribesmen live in the wild area where the forest becomes desert in the deep south of Far Harad. Their shields have been painted with blood and clay. They are decorated with crude images of the Grakhuul, a gigantic vulture with green black plumage that feeds on the carcasses of dead mumakil. They carry crudely forged spiked brass headed clubs in the image of the Grakhuul that they venerate. The clubs are often decorated with the neck feathers of this giant raptor, a prized possession. Skulls of their victims are worn as body art. They are a violent people, huge and strong, they have been known to rip their enemies apart. They not known for their intelligence and they only seem to communicate in grunts.
