I finally finished a Chinese machine shop that I have been working on for the last year. I had been working on it as a major setting for a Pulp/Back of Beyond game with a good friend. Unfortunately, my buddy unexpectedly passed away a couple of weeks ago before we could play a single game. I sourced the work bench elements from Rusty Rail and the machine tools from Narrow Gauge Modeling Company. The building and yard area is a resin casting off of eBay. I imagine they initially conceived it as a Peninsular or Caribbean building but I instantly saw that it belonged in China.

The parts bin and work bench area.

Solvent tanks and acetylene torches at the entrance of the machine shop.

Inside the shop, the bench, drill press, and grinder.

I always try to have what I consider realistic economic and social elements in my games and this was the first of a series of Chinese businesses that I was planning on building, probably to go on hold now
