Thanks, sykoholic - if it turns out I do have a LS around, I may give that conversion a try.  The results to indeed make a good "jeep".

Love_the_Lash, I have picked up a lot of Hasslefree figures through the years, but had never spotted that Fire Wasp.  Nice model!

Again, thanks all!

Forge World used to have a line of Elysian Drop Troops that had a nice light vehicle, the Elysian Tauros Assault Vehicle.  But it looks like the whole Elysian line has been dropped.  Pity - it had some nice figures.

Not mine!

Anvil miniatures used to do a nice light vehicle the cobra I think

I bought one but sadly now wish I had bought at least two or three more (lesson, buy when there!).

Very nice vehicle.

Anvil bring it back, please :-*

Hi Stormwolf.  Yes, the Cobra is a nice one.  I have just sent Anvil Industries a query about it.

I can recommend the Empress vehicles.

TW2K themed HMMWV.

Not a jeep, but useful for exploring.

M76 Otter.

For that Morrow Project retrospective.

V100 Cadillac Gage Commando.

Number Five Is Alive...

Ferret armoured car.

Retro-Jeep

WW2 Jeep, plus the Mighty Mite and the Forf Mutt.

Crooked Dice have an alternative HMMWV (doubling as a Chinese PLA Mengshi 4x4).

Evil Bear had a Foxhound PMV - I hope it becomes available again.

And a Panther (also usable by the Russians).

I notice a theme here that many of these nifty vehicles are OOP now.  Love the Foxhound, Ultravanillasmurf!

Speaking of OOP models, I have already heard back from Anvil:

"Hi Michael, I certainly hope it will be back at some point!  I have no idea when though. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
Kind regards, Joel"

That was a quick response!  Sadly, doesn't sound like they are going to be available any time soon.

I just checked my notes and I bought my Warthogs back in September 2011. They were Warthog - Halo 3 Vehicles - Series 1 - from McFarlane, which may help track them down.

If anyone had asked, I would have said I bought them maybe two or three years ago. A decade, however... Time to go and yell at some kids for being on my lawn ;D

I'm exactly like this, I completely lack any kind of temporal perspective.
