Looks really good - I like the blue wall behind the gaming table.

You must be pleased after all the hard work

Nice, well done getting it all.. done.

Would love to have that permanent kind of space, for all my hobbies, maybe one day  ::)

Get on and enjoy it!

Wonderful result and well worth the slog! I'm sure many hours will be spent there, in comfort too, I might add. 8)

Your hobby room and mine are about the same size, it looks like, with mine potentially being a tad wider (I have a 6x4 table in there). Also, the layout is exactly the same (hobby desk in the corner next to the door, gaming table in the back, jutting against the left wall, shelving underneath, etc. Even the colour blue on your walls is close to the blue I picked!

Great minds, eh? ;)

Oh, and contrary to popular belief, tidy is the new messy, when it comes to being creative, so you're on the right track for sure! :D

A great looking new wargames hobby room.  The sweetie box is a nice touch.

The lay out does look very similar you have what appears to a rather nice church pew in yours though.

Yes it was a good call from the wife still deciding which sweets go best with a painting session though. The Haribo are nice but a bit sticky, the Foxes glacier mints are old school but in a good way and the Werther's Originals aren't bad.

Surely, they should be beside a bowl of licorice all sorts?

My wife said, 'I left a whole bowl full of Liquorice All-sorts beside my
bed last night. This morning there is just one sweet. How do you
explain that!'
'Couldn't see that one in the dark'  :D

Well done that man, an excellent result all round!
I've just completed my new, New Emporium by the Seaside, everything's in one room and I'm very happy. Everything but the painting table, Herself's insisting that this stays downstairs. Her reasoning being that if it too was in the Emporium, I'd surface in the dawn's early light but never, ever make it downstairs!

I can relate to the challenge of transforming a space with practical needs into something that works for both function and comfort. I recently had to search for skirting board online to finish up a project in my own garage. I was really impressed by how much the right architrave and wall paneling can elevate a room's look.
