Finished the first of my Anglo-Saxon lords. The lord and banner bearer are from Footsore Miniatures & Games and the musician is from the War Lord Saxon Ceorls. The banner and shield decals are from Little Big Men Studios.

Decided to take a brake from my Anglo-Saxon army and work on some of the Normans. Finished 16 armored Norman Knights on horseback. 12 are from Conquest Games and 4 are from Footsore Miniatures. I am really happy with how they turned out. I need to touch up the 16 I already have and that will give me a full Division (for Hail Creaser) of mounted armored knights.
Loads of pictures on my blog: https://wyndehurstproductions.blogspot.com/2021/10/norman-knights.html

Thanks guys. This year is the 955 anniversary of the battle. Unfortunately I won't have the whole army done by then but maybe 960th lol

I have finished painting, rebasing, and adding details to all 32 of my armored, mounted, Norman Knights. I also touched up my Norman Lord.

Very impressive!

Try to stay on the subject of miniatures though lol

Another unit of Ceorls finished. I imagined this unit was raised from a village on lands belonging to the church so a pair of priests are leading them. Mostly Victrix with two Wargames Factory Saxons and two Crusader Miniatures Romano British minis to fill out the unit. Last of my unarmored Victrix used. Banner and shield decals from Little Big Men Studios. More photos on blog and any overall update of the army progress: https://wyndehurstproductions.blogspot.com/2021/10/more-anglo-saxons.html
