Hoplites Rampant

Gave my hoplites a run out recently using the Lion Rampant Rules for the first time with some of the unit options in the Peloponnesian Rampant supplement by Kurt Bowker and using it’s Phalanx rule (see the yellow counters  )

Contrary to many house rules, we played the activation rule as written giving your opponent a new turn as soon as you failed an activation role. It gave the game a really good flow. We are going to try a Byzantine/Norman clash next.

Hoplites are ALWAYS a good time.  At least in my humble opinion.
