Well, been a while but I had someone asking about these a couple weeks back so I finally got around to printing some out as a test... scaled down to Epic sizes though rather than the full 28mm I plan to do in future.

...and a group shot, the sizes vary a bit, I seem to have made the Malefactor quite wide but I guess it works as it's meant to be carrying a squad of tyranids inside.

Very cool. Any plans on the Dominatrix? Was that what it was really called?

Haha, yes it was called that. I have reference pics for it and the Heirophant ready but I think the Dominatrix will probably vary a bit from the original. For me, the original is a bit of a mess of armoured plates which I would probably simplify somewhat.

Those are very cool. Like the fatter malefactor - looks like it might have room for gaunts inside it. Though I’m not sure how they were ever meant to get out of it.

The epic Dominatrix is a very odd model - a kind of armoured cow with guns on its head and back. Didn’t really fit with the other big bio-titans or these smaller ones.

Cheers, also "transport sphincter" is apparently how the 'nids get in and out of the malefactor... They were located at the back of the front armour plating on the original, I have not modelled them. :D

Been a while but finally got around to printing one of these bad boys at 40k scale. In transparent plastic, thatI'm trying to use up, so not the most photogenic but turned out pretty decent.

Cool. Love a lot of the old tyranid stuff, except the warriors. I have a bunch of screamer killers. Such fun sculpts.
You've done an excellent job with these. Are they on the paint table yet?

Well... they're on A table... where painting has occured... Still not entirely sure on a colour scheme, was originally going red and black as can be seen on the warrior and "hunter killers" but since changed my mind. Printed the Exocrine as well, removing the supports was a whole thing... Seems the transparent plastic likes to just shatter into sharp shards.

Love the look of these.
Puts me in the mind of the old armorcast models, and that's a good thing.

Well been a fair while since I've done much digital sculpting but sat down for a bit over the last week or two and made a classic Trygon... kinda. There was never a larger version of this guy outside an unproduced prototype so did my own interpretation really. The old Epic version had what looked like a little beaky mouth so I went for a sort of graboid beak with split mandibles which kind of follows the current version.

I do have a start on a Heirophant... probably going to do a Harridan first at some point though.

Cheers. Looking through the thread I realise I never actually posted the link to them... Well if anyone with access to a printer wants to print their own 'nid vehicles you can grab em here:

https://cults3d.com/en/users/CaitSidhe/creations

They're all scaled for 40k, though the Trygon I added a 6mm scaled one and might go back and do the same for the others. They will all need supports regardless of FDM or resin printing.
