Sentry Duty
« on: 18 July 2021, 07:24:06 AM »
A Rebel messenger stumbles into an unfortunate British sentry on picket duty.

The mounted figure is a conversion that I did.
I think he may have begun life as a Cowboy, judging by the rope attached to his saddle.
I've no idea if AWI period riders carried rope with them or not. It may not be correct, but I am willing to live with it.
The Sentry is a Perry casting. I seem to think that it's from the American casualties pack.

The smaller bushes were made with clumps of horsehair.
They don't have to be wild and overgrown to look good

He wasn't very alert if he didn't see a man on a horse trotting up  :D

Nice idea, I like the elongated base as part of the narrative.
