Back at this project, testing some cavalry and horse artillery. Cavalry mounts and limbers by Alternative Armies while the riders and limber crew were found in the assorted miniatures box looking for a suited purpose. Will headswap with Wargames Atlantic Lizardmen heads. Quite happy with the look so these will probably be next. 12 cavalry and two horse artillery limbers.

Can't wait to see after the head swaps and paint.

Given the uniforms, I have a slight itch for the head gear to be added back, or even just adding face/muzzle.

Sorry, does seem like a lot of work for a simple fancy...

Thanks, have also thought about adding head gear. But decided to keep it simple to speed up progress. Too many projects, but lacking enough time.

Progress, finished a whole bunch of monopose Skinks and also modular Skinks which I armed with muskets and machine guns (for my scifi setting). When assembling another batch I had an idea to add spears to the monopose Skinks making them more dynamic. Would have probably converted all of them but the first batch was already fully painted. So plenty of cheap Skinks to bolster the ranks.
