I think the NMM turned out well. I haven’t seen a lot of examples that use the technique to represent copper, but I think you got it right. I initially thought maybe more toward red tones would be more “coppery”, but I’ve revised my thinking and this looks good for the polished metal (which I think war gear would be). Copper variety anyway, depending on what it’s alloyed with anyway.
