Invisible Enemy Game Pics - Wasteland Mat
« on: 06 August 2021, 08:08:11 PM »
Took some pics during an Invisible Enemy game on the wasteland mat. I decided to paint some more grey-green camouflage minis to sort of match the mat. Used demolished cinder block for wasteland wreckage which worked nicely. Next we'll add some shredded sheet metal chunks for large craft debris.

A very effective study in colours!

I can see that those miniatures becoming ‘lost’ during the game, as their camo seems to fit very well!

Originally when we were playing on table tops, I commonly painted them up as interesting metallic schemes (silver with sepia wash, etc.). After I bought a couple of the gaming mats it inspired me to see how closely I could match the mat for effect. Fun to paint.

Longer shot of the board, there are six MGVs visible in the photo.
