I must say in Digit's defence that another quiz round, a team one,
had him shouting out so many correct answers that we renamed
it a Digit's round :D

Sounded like a great gaming night.  Mixing in gaming & historical trivia amongst the normal dice mechanics was a great touch.

Thanks Syrinx0.
Fun was definitely had.
I do try & add 'something' to the games.
I don't like games with no soul. I'm sure
we've all experienced them,
'so +3 magical warhammer against a 12pt Hv. Inf = need 5 on the D6'

Much better is, 'Mjolnir smites the cursed troll' "See he falls!" (6 on D6)

Really great looking game and I love the trivia based task resolution. I’m jealous and inspired all at once!

I do try & inject such things. In a WW2 Fall of France game, the
Brits & French had radios, but to help replicate the difficulty
that the originals had of communicating, they were only allowed
to converse in (school boy) French.  Much hilarity especially as
miming was forbidden. Any lapses were penalised. Vodkafan,
in desperation blurted out some English. That resulted in a
Stuka dive-bomber attack.
It can have unexpected results. In another WW2 game the
Germans entered the fray & every tank, without exception,
opened up on some empty railway wagons on a siding.
'Why?' I asked. 'We've played in your games before!' they said. lol

Limits on rounds can nip that in the bud.  Not that we ever had that problem...  ::)

In a D&D game one of the group found a 'Wand of fireballs'.
To practice with it , on the way to sort out the big Dragon,
he fired it at just about anything, doors, tables, tapestries,
mice etc etc.
Then burst in on the said Dragon, 'Take that!' he screamed,
only for the DM to point out the wand only had a limited
number of fire balls, '& you used 3 up on doors, 2 on tables....
....so you have none left!'  :D

I still have a mental image of a cartoon (Wille Coyote) charred,
used matchstick looking figure, still holding a wand, while a smug
Dragon is in the background.
