Warhammer Historical re-release the Earps figure set

http://warhammer-historical.com/acatalog/Dioramas.html

Ģ12.00, so not exactly cheap [ but what would you expect from GW?], however they are lovely Perry figures and were much appreciated on first release.

Aplogies if this has already been mentioned  :)

I've never understood why Warhammer Historical isnt supported in GW stores,

It's a complex situation, but basically it boils down to this:

GW Historical takes away from the bottom line for GW, which, since Citadel stopped making historical miniatures in the early 1980s, has been Warhammer and Warhammer 40k.

It's a strange company, but generally speaking, the more the public "wants" a product, the less likely GW is to do it. This is doubly so for anything historical. It's unfortunate, but that's the way the company works. And apparently it has worked well for them, more or less, over the  last several years.

 ???

I always thought the best way to do business was to sell people what they want, but at the prices you want. Maybe that explains why I'll never amount to much  lol

Is WHW re-releasing old stuff to distract us from all the promised books that they haven't got around to yet?  Like, maybe, all those completed manuscripts for WAB and Great War whose release dates keep being pushed back?

I personally dont think you will ever see these published. There may well be very similar titles come along but somehow I doubt they will be the ones to which you refer.

So do I.  And how about the Black Scorpion figures?  LINK

Not bought any yet but they always look very good.

Artizan's figures are very good indeed - I'ye just had some of their Alamo Mexican infantry and they are primed and ready next to a load of Malamute's Presidiales. They are a joy to paint and even someone like me can get good results out of them. I have the Artizan Earps and Holliday set but at present I'm undecided as to whether they will represent them or another group of generic lawmen/outlaws.

I do like the WH set though. For some reason it looks more realistic to me, although this is probably based on images from Hollywood movies rather than proper reality  ::)  lol
