Very nice looking buildings on the blog that your mate Chris donated to the project. See what you mean about too big for 28mm and just perfect for your 40mm models.

The only stopping me go 40mm is the extra terrain needed but seeing these figures - maybe it'd be worth it
On the lookout for 10mm Magister Militum Fantasy figures, halflings and woodelves in particular

Thanks Kikuchiyo. I terrain is resolvable, I am happy I have enough trees and buildings that look right, of course doing it in Sharp Practice means I am not really looking to fill much more than a 4 x 4 table.

I've been wondering about SP table size - theres seems to be a push for 8X6 but does it work ok on a 4X4

with range and movement?

4 x 4 is plenty for a 2-3 hour evening game, bigger than that I dont see getting a result. I have played on a 6 x 6 with 3.5 hours for the game and 2 players a side, we need at least another hour or so to get any sort of conclusion.

If you think that movement is typically two D6 and you cant move if your firing or re-loading  its going to take 3 or 4 moves to get into action even on a 4 x 4. At long range after the first volley firing is typically very ineffective so you need to get reasonably close. 4 x 4 or 4 x 6 are ideal table sizes for me.
